What Vindicator actually does for you
This is not “AI solves everything.” It’s practical Discord damage control. Here’s how each core feature works.
1. Auto-clean after leavers
The pattern: drive-by advertisers spam 3–10 channels and bounce.
You’re stuck cleaning it.
Vindicator can track which channels/categories matter (your ad/promo/self-promo areas,
or anywhere you choose). When a member leaves, Vindicator removes their leftover junk
from those locations.
You control which channels are on the cleanup list using !pc check add
and !pc check del. You can audit the list any time with
!pc check list.
2. Duplicate invite control
“Join my server!!” posted in #general, #off-topic, #art, #gaming, #pets, #cooking,
and DMs. Sound familiar?
You set how many duplicates are allowed across your watched channels/categories.
Vindicator watches, enforces the cap, and deletes copy/paste spam once the limit’s hit.
You can enable this and set a cap with
!pc checkdupe set <maxAllowed>
and review/add/remove channels using
!pc checkdupe list.
3. Minimum quality filter
Some channels deserve effort.
With !pc setcharactercount <num>,
you can require a minimum character count for a specific channel.
Posts below that length get auto-removed. Perfect for “serious help” or “applications”
channels where you don’t want low-effort spammy one-liners.
4. Moderator commands that actually help
Warn. Mute. Kick. Ban. Nickname. Deafen/Undeafen.
Central report channel.
These are standard actions, but now it’s consistent and logged.
You don’t have to trust random self-host scripts or give 10 mods full admin just to do basic cleanup.
